Vancouver BC emcee Jaq Havoq  takes us on a personal journey on his single “Lonely.” The track sees the emerging act taking time off from the world to look at things from a different and profound perspective.

Having gone through his own bout of personal slumps,  Jaq Havoq uses these experiences to craft what he says is one of his most vulnerable songs. “Lonely” is as solemn and reflective as they come and really tackles the issue from a dark place with honest lyrics that everyone can relate to. Lines like “…Often off and on, feel like on and on/ feel like time is standing still, thinking something may be wrong…” explores his emotions in that sunken place and gives the listener a vivid view of things.

“Lonely” can be called an anthem for anyone who has been at their lowest and Havoq wants them to know that even though it felt like it, they weren’t alone.
