Underground artist Jamrock King releases his latest single titled “Been There.” Although the track takes listeners to a dark period in his life, the tale is both relatable and gripping.
Part of the hook, “ain’t too close but I ain’t too far ain’t too high cause I been down low” not only sets the tone of the record but also resonates throughout in an echoing manner.
Using vividly sharp wordplay Jamrock King describes what depression looks and feels like. He questions who the villain is in the mirror and goes back and forth between life being a blessing and also a threat.
A somber backdrop of soulful melodies and bass, driven by horns envelops Jamrock King’s raw emotions and transparency. Stream “Been There” and connect below.
