The UK based Florida emcee Isaac B comes through with a lyric dense track “I’m Here” that aims to showcase his penmanship while giving props to the greats that paved the way. The laidback emcee sure packs a punch over the ominous piano-laden backdrop with a not so subtle jab on the hook like “…here comes the drums, the suns not out but the guns out. yeah,/ Uzi notebook in the trash like yeah…”

The lyric focus emcee doesn’t hold back his disdain for wack emcees and sens some verbal darts across on the track as well. The moody backdrop is quite engaging and feels like something out of a sci-fi horror flick but it sure lends its strength to Isaac B’s message of focusing on the internal and shunning all the glitz and glamor that today’s music is riddled with.

“I’m Here” is taken from his forthcoming 7 track EP titled Chances Ocean. The project is produced by Manchester producer Aleesai, the EP was brought to fruition at The Rattle, a collective space and artist incubator based in the shadow of the old East London Tobacco Docks.

Isaac B is also hosting a virtual listening party this coming Sunday, check here for more details.
