Rising Rochester-based rapper Indian Boy steps to the forefront with his new single “NATIVE VIBE” produced by Kidd Called Quest. The production has a dark and haunting vibe and it’s made up of solemn piano keys, moody bassline-laden drum grooves and sublime horn passes underpinned by Indian Boy’s vivid lyricism. Here, he reflects on the many events in his neighbourhood that shaped him.

  
Though this may be a lot of listeners’ first introduction to Indian Boy, he has been amassing a catalogue of quality tracks over the past decade, including work with ETO, Crotona P, Street Da Villain and many more. In addition to “Native Vibe” Kidd and Indian have recorded several tracks together in the past and plan to do more work together shortly.
