Rising rapper Hella Yella shares two records “Thank God” and “Smoke Break”

The first track “Thank God” is a bravado-laden track ripe with verbal threats and hard-hitting bars laced over a solemn piano-driven backdrop. Lines “Might even come in today, you better pray cos either way you gonna find out what happens when you laugh at him for being passionate” sees Hella Yella asserting himself towards the naysayers and haters.

The accompanying video is made up of dimly lit performance shots of Hella Yella as he does what he knows best.

On “Smoke Break”, Hella Yella makes use of a smokey, summery backdrop made up of dreamy textures and crunchy drum breaks. Armed with his distinct flow and laidback demeanour, he takes time to clear his mind from the madness with a much-needed smoke break.

The visual continues the theme set in “Thank God” and once again, we see a live performance setting with Hella Yella in the forefront.
