Independent rapper/producer/songwriter G-Que Dalton‘s quest to change the stereotype and remedial narrative that has plagued hip-hop is a thankless job. Regardless, he is determined to share the truth with everyone. His latest release titled “Feed ‘Em Poison” is an unapologetic look at the negative narratives and continuous push of the ratchet behaviour to the masses. Backed by a cinematic and punchy soundscape comprising solemn keys and hard-hitting drums, G-Que Dalton tackles the various issues with a commanding and intentional tone with lines like “Street tales glamorized, bullets fly, life’s rigged/They say niggaz never learn, so hell what’d I expect/ You see we older now, still pushing the same stories, same blocks, same glocks, chasing the same glory” which underscore his true purpose of enlightenment.

In his own words, “This song isn’t just music—it’s a wake-up call. Too many in our community are addicted to the same narratives that keep us trapped, and it’s time we push for something different.”
