Japanese American Fox Spirit delivers this reflective and thought-provoking piece titled “Snow Moon Flower”. The song was conceived in 2020 on the 75th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing and it dives into the timeline that led to the historical event and how Japanese Americans were treated in internment camps in the US. Over the gloomy and cinematic backdrop, he questions his stance on the war itself, the role of Japan as an aggressor towards other Asia countries, the unwarranted Pearl harbour attack and the Atomic bomb drop as well. The track is quite packed and layered and leaves listeners with something to think about.

Belonging to the “lost generation” of Hip Hop, Atsu Nakayama began recording music as Fox Spirit in 2020 during his studies in Liverpool. Born in Philadelphia, and raised in Tokyo, Fox Spirit wandered the earth as a foreigner to all lands, trying to find peace in an ever-changing environment. Being the same age as the late XXXTENTACION and Juice WRLD, two voices of his generation, Fox Spirit carries their legacy by embodying the angst mood and depressive tendencies of said lost generation.
