“Inmates getting paid at an hourly rate
with more than half of it going back to the state
Just so the governor can go and create
more prisons…”

Faith Santilla just dropped her second piece, called No More Prisons, which is the latest from her upcoming spoken word album, A Slow Build To Power. Santilla, who’s been a labor and community organizer for over 20 years, is dedicating all the proceeds made from this track to the Asian Prisoner Support Committee (APSC) – an all-volunteer organization.

Their mission is provide direct support to Asian and Pacific Islander (API) prisoners and to raise awareness about the growing number of APIs being imprisoned, detained, and deported.
