London, UK emcee Zoka The Author has been putting in work for a few years now with his rap/spoken word approach to music. He recently put out his debut EP Reflections and shares two new songs from his unreleased stash with us.

“Flowers” is the first release for Zoka who makes use of a somber, reflective backdrop to deliver a message of upliftment for us to hear. He details his ups and downs and growth as a human through it all. It’s quite relatable and heartwarming.

“Mosaic Flows” is the B side to “Flowers” and has an upbeat punchy backdrop. Zoka is fiery and more vibrant on this tune. He blends insightful and bravado elements on this one. His flow is smooth and clear with every syllable and line drawing the listener deeper into his life.
