Miami-based instrumental quartet Electric Kif caught our ears with their genre-fusing sounds on the new single “F.M.B.” The record takes elements from genres like dub, for its main groove and rhythm and jazz for the lush guitar arrangement layered with heavenly organs and synths.

The track is quite dynamic and as it progresses it slowly shifts in terms of sounds and draws the listener in with its expanding instrumentation. Electric Kif is made up of Guitarist Eric Escanes, keyboardist Jason Matthews, bassist Rodrigo Zambrano, and drummer Armando Lopez.  “F.M.B.” is the second single from their upcoming LP Dreamlike, due out in August.
