DopeManDaye returns to the forefront with two tracks from his new 2 track EP entitled The Grand Scheme of Things. The tracks include “Arm’s Reach” which features vocalist Dolce and “Dolla More”. The former is a mellow piano-laden backdrop that exudes nostalgic and reflective aesthetics and we see DopeManDaye musing on his own journey through this life and all the ups and downs it brings. The latter “Dolla More” flips the same sample as Twista’s “Overnight Celebrity” in a unique way. DopeManDaye gets into his element with his hustler mentality as he treads through the wolves in the concrete city. Armed with his impassioned flow and vivid lyricism he delivers the goods while reminding us that he is not settling for less.
