16 years ago today arguably the most important figure in hip hop “Tupac Amaru Shakur” was shot and killed in Las Vegas. In an historical event, that is yet to be solved.

Tupac was much more than an MC, he was a spokesman for black culture. A figure whose thoughts resonated with an entire generation.
