Singer/songwriter Dana Williams delivers an emotion-driven track titled “Hard” which explores the struggle for self-compassion and love. Backed by the hard-hitting backdrop provided by producer Alex Da Kid (Rihanna), Williams slowly expresses her innermost fears on the canvas laid before her. She confesses to being tough on herself for the most part and how she has to constantly remind herself to take things easy and not fall into the perfectionist trap. She further explains that the song was birthed when she noticed that she was too critical of herself and also from the want to explore self-love.

She is currently headlining at The Moroccan in Los Angeles on 11/4.
