On August 27, days before what would be Michael Jackson’s 53rd birthday, Q-Tip will host and perform with DJ Spinna at New York City’s Irving Plaza.

“Michael Jackson was a huge influence on my music and was an inspiration to me and so many others. I want to bring people together to celebrate the man, his music and his legacy that will undoubtedly live on forever,” Tip said in a statement.
