The iconic Hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest has reunited for one final effort.

The beloved group has been dormant for nearly two decades, many fans believed that A Tribe Called Quest would never release another project. In fact, it has been 18 years since the release of their last album The Love Movement. On November 11th, 2016 all of that is going to change. The Tribe released a statement a few days ago announcing the upcoming album entitled We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service.

The album comes on the heels of Phife Dawg’s passing in March of this year. What fans didn’t know was that the group had been secretly working on this album before his untimely death. We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service is set to feature and all star cast of guests ranging from Busta Rhymes, Consequence, Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Jack White, and even Elton John.

A Tribe Called Quest certainly has one of the most decorated catalogs in all of Hip-hop. With the release of We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service, they’ll be capping off a legendary career with their last album. The expectations are high but based on their storied history we have no reason to expect anything less than greatness from the group. Stay tuned to The Word Is Bond, as we will be covering the album further with a review when it releases on November 11th.
