Metrograph will be premiering the Edo Bertoglio classic, Downtown 81, as part of the NYC ’81 series they have going on throughout this month. The series is currently running, while the Jean-Michel Basquiat joint will showcase on the 25th. You can purchase your tickets now for the show.  We would give you the breakdown of the film, but we rather not only because there are those that haven’t seen the movie yet. The cast includes Fab 5 Freddy, Debbie Harry, Lee Quinones, and more.

If anything, we’d suggest that you go support the event throughout the entire month anyway. All of the movies shown were based in New York.
