Wu-tang Clan affiliate Tekitha returns with the visual for her lead single “Emotional” which features Torae. Known for her commanding vocals, Tekitha once again proves she can hang with the best as she delivers a heartwarming performance over the rich, alluring soundscape provided by Ahmed Soultan.  A blend of Afro and Arabian elements mixed with some hip-hop, “Emotional”  really stands out with its distinct sound and style which is accentuated by Tekitha’s passionate vocals and a solid verse from NY emcee Torae. The visual goes for an exotic feel with it’s cinematic aesthetic executed in a minimalistic but still engaging fashion.

“Emotional” is taken from her new album Week Of The Phoenix. The project was fully produced by multi-award winner producer and singer/songwriter Ahmed Soultan, creator of the style “Afrobian”, progressively blending African and Arabic elements with a contemporary edge.
