Emerging Oceanside, California-based indie rap act Cedric Des makes his entry on our site on a grand note. His new release “Soul Glow” is part insightful and nostalgic while it also shows the rapper’s vulnerability.

Backed by a mellow, soulful production courtesy of world-class drummer, Kenaniah (@kenaniah), Des delivers an impassioned performance ripe with evocative and revealing lyrics about his life and journey in the game. He is not afraid to share his fears, hopes and dreams and really gives listeners an insight into what makes him tick as an artist and a human. The lyrics ae relatable and heartfelt and as Des put it, he wrote it for POC who are looking for the right outlet to express who they truly are.
