Rising indie rapper Ced Savage starts off the year with his new project entitled Mafia Library Volume 4, a 17 track body of work that explores his life in different snapshots. From running the streets to the studio to making moves beyond the usual.

The project starts with “Dope Man” a bouncy crisp track that details the life of a dealer navigating the unpredictable streets and the different situations he has to face in order to survive. On “Predator” he tackles the subject of loyalty in the face of adversity, he makes use of a cinematic trap backdrop to deliver his impassioned flow. “Blow Ya Mind” samples a classic Jay Z sample and sees Ced in storytelling mode as he details the different hurdles that surround his life, he is joined by Intylekt who ad his own thoughts on wax. This is followed by “Bloodline” with the aid of Twin G and the result is an anthemic piece ripe with fiery performances and graphic lyricism. On “Hoodie”  Ced calls up J. Stalin for a solid feature and both emcees drop bravado-laden bars over a sparse piano-driven beat. On “Doo Too” featuring. D-Lo and Ace Makaveli, listeners get a snapshot of the rapper’s lives as they aim for success regardless of the struggles around them. Messy Marv, J. Stalin, and Lil Blood appear on the laidback and soulful “I’m In Love”  which dives into the dynamics of love in a very nuanced and distinct manner. The rappers give their own experiences with the ladies in their lives.

Mafia Library Volume 4 is purely a vibe and made up of street records with bravado and somewhat insightful bars.
