The pairing of Casual and DEAD PERRY is always welcomed and the dynamic duo kicks off 2023 with the visual for the insightful and educational record titled “White Crown”. The track is a masterclass in ancient Egyptian history with a parallel comparison with modern times. Over DEAD PERRY’s menacing and sombre soundscape, Casual opens up the class with historical references and facts as he breaks down the true meaning of the White Crown as it pertains to upper Egypt and how it struggled with the Red Crown which represented lower Egypt. The verses are now threaded seamlessly by excellent cuts delivered by DJ Eclipse.

The visual is a blend of performance shots of Casual and Egyptian artifacts that fully represent the entire theme of the song itself.

This new single follows the potent chemistry the duo demonstrated last year with the release of The Art Of Reanimation LP. Released in CD/CS and Digital via Below System Records (Trizz, Estee Nack/Superior) and vinyl via Tuff Kong the project featured a plethora of top-notch spitters including Ghostface Killah, Killah Priest, Rockness Monsta, Phesto, Planet Asia, Tristate, ETO, Daniel Son, Celph Titled, Crimeapple and DJ TMB.
