So the long awaited DuckDown’s finest group Black Moon returns. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen the awesome trio back in the fold making music together. After a few IG posts from DJ Evil Dee, and a April 2019 interview with Tim Einenkel (below), the work from their upcoming album, ‘Rise of da Moon’ arriving to the ‘nets this summer.

So to show good faith this summer, they’ve released their first single/music video called ‘Creep Wit Me’. The video showcases Buckshot and 5FT rocking backpacks like how they did in their 1993 debut single, Who Got Da Props’.

“It was so dope working with my crew on this album. Unlike a lot of albums today, we recorded the album together in the same studio,” Evil Dee told Complex. “Mr. Walt & I came with our Beatminerz sound (heavy bass and drums) representing that boom bap. [Buckshot and 5 ft] came with the ill rhymes. Mixing the album was so dope. We wanted to bring back it back to the ’90s with our analog/digital mixing process. Rise of da Moon represents Black Moon’s legacy to the fullest.”

Rise of Da Moon will be out this summer.
