This album represents the art of emceeing. I describe it as a lyrical assault on all things wack. I pride myself on being an emcees emcee and I hope that you all find some nostalgia and innovation within my world play. This is the beginning of independence for me so it was only fit to drop this EP during the week of The Fourth of July. With For the Grimy I plan to continue to release music with different themes and directions to mirror the era of music that I find the most inspiration from which is the Vietnam Era. Soul, Funk, and Classic Rock have so much passion in the delivery that I can only try to bring that passion to the mic with the most aggressive and thought provoking words that I can muster. The next EP will be Afro Pick Pride which is going to be more soulful and southern influenced, but as well as socially and politically conscious. Thank You for your support. – Awon
