KnowMads are a Hip Hop group from Seattle. The KnowMads consist of Pepe, Jester & Cheef on the mics, along with Originate & Jester on the breaks.
“All of our songs have been recorded in the Bassment. We make music because we feel there are too many kids out there wasting their lives. We call ourselves the KnowMads because we wander our planet and our society in search of intelligent life. In search of those few people who make the world spin and your heart beat. But we’re just doing what we love. When our lights burn out we’ll leave behind our music. So that’s our lives. When the bombs start dropping and kids start praying, we’ll be up on the rooftop, freestyling and beatboxing til the world goes down”
They’ve been around since 2006 I believe but i first heard them late 2008 and to be honest i kinda slept on them i didn’t really give their music a good listen too until recently when one of their tracks appeared in my shuffle and im pleased it did as these guys are dope. You can hear the energy they bring, you can tell they just enjoy making their music and its more then just a hobby to them. Sometimes when you listen to allot of music you often come across artists who just sound tired but these guys are the opposite of that. Don’t sleep!
