Spectac & Amiri – This, That, & Tha 3rd

“My Flow’s relevant, heavy like herds of elephants

Set a precedent like 2 term presidents

Assassin, leaving  no evidence, I’m far from benevolent

Before the internet, I toured the Netherlands”

My first taste of Spectac’s music was when he dropped a solid collaboration album with the ubiquitous 9th Wonder. That was years ago and a lot has happened since then as he hooked up with producer Amiri once again on their sophomore release Soul Beautiful on Kevin Nottingham’s label Hipnott Records.

This is a mellow banger, hard hitting boom bap drums and jazzy horns reminiscent of the 20s and 30s with a scratched hook for good measure.

Check here for previous posts on Spectac & Amiri. Get with this that and the third!!!
