Canadian beat maker SVMRI cooks up the “Raw Work 2” in their latest release. The tack has a mellow drum groove with retro jazz horns and dusty basslines to create a solemn ambiance. Superglue steps into this week’s playlist with “This Bird has Flown,” a piano-laden track that evokes nostalgia, while BugigangaZ flips a gripping jazz groove with the guitar-driven “6 AM”. “Silent Reflections” by kBeats, Fabilous Beats, and Vidalima is a solemn, reflective lofi piece underpinned by soft tones, slick keys and lush pads. German music producer Crystalline taps into their “Roots” with this slick guitar-laced cut that is perfect for your meditation playlist.
Wildflower Bokeh dishes out “lemon balm” for those who need it. The track has soft drums, a prevalent bass guitar and trippy synth-like keys that feel like a fever dream. Dunedin, New Zealand-based music producer Terror Firma brings “Pure Joy” to our playlist. Bridging the worlds of modern improv jazz and soulful lofi hip-hop, the producer crafts an uplifting horn-driven jam that transports listeners to a live jazz lounge where the drinks stay cold, and the musicians are rocking the stage with raw energy. The track also has a captivating trumpet solo from longtime collaborator Brett Emerson Wagner. “Orchard Picker” is the lead single from producer Pasquale‘s forthcoming instrumental album, Specials 2. The record has a ladiback drum groove underpinned by chopped guitar plucks that evoke nostalgia.
Edmonton-based music producer Newselph creates the perfect soundtrack for the “Morning Rush” with the help of Matthew A. Thomas. The result is a lo-fi lounge jazz type vibe with classic hip-hop elements. from the improv jazz piano riffs, heavenly horn passes, thick bass-driven grooves and foley sound design that adds a scenic touch to the track. “Cortado” is a nostalgia-inducing lofi-jazz piece from NY-based jazz instrumentalist saint rumi and Berlin-based Okinami. Together, they craft a mellow and blissful tune with minimal elements featuring soft keys, tepid bassline with a prominent guitar lick and solemn pads that evoke memories of the past. The dynamic musical duo comprising Jonny Wolf and Nathan Kersey-Wilson return with “Wishing You Love,” a smooth, atmospheric piece that evokes bittersweet memories. From the hypnotic sax riffs to the warm ethereal textures and steady headnodding drum groove, the duo deliver their second collaboration on a platter of audio gold.
