After thrilling crowds with the live version of “Na Dem,” Seun Kuti & Egypt 80  connect with producer Femi Koleoso of Ezra Collective to help build the track into a full-fledged anthem. With Koleoso at the helm of affairs and the Egypt 80 band in tow, they also recruit the legendary Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine) to add his unique touch to the track. The result is an unapologetic and scathing look at the current state of affairs in Nigeria and the hypocrisy of religious leaders and corrupt politicians who continue to deceive the masses.

The release of “Na Dem” follows his critically acclaimed 2024 album Heavier Yet (Lay The Crownless Head), a bold and expansive project that further cemented his international reputation.

Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 will embark on a new world tour beginning May 7, 2026, in Barcelona. The tour will travel through the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand, before heading to the United States for two special performances this fall: My Life in Movement on October 9 in Los Angeles at The Regent Theater, and October 14 in New York at Webster Hall. UK dates TBC.
