Welcome to TWIB’s Weekly Top 10 Videos. This segment looks at exceptional visuals from various acts around the globe. The music video format has been around for decades, from the 90s and 2000s, and has shifted from multi-million-dollar-budget music videos to mid- to low-budget videos with exceptional production values. In this section, we will not discriminate but highlight some creative visuals that pop up on our radar.

Again, we promise to bring you the best from high to low budget, to animated to DIY and first and foremost, the most creative visuals we can source.

CWES7T – “Early Risers”.

Early Risers” is a weekly music showcase series spearheaded by Bay-Area-based production team King Coffee Penguin, with sponsorship by California-based hot sauce producer San Diego Pepper Company. They aim to highlight the musical talent across the Northern and Southern California music scenes with high fidelity 4k acapella performances captured in a cinematic environment. The newest entry is performed by CWES7T, who steps onto the coffee table with a crystal clear delivery and engaging bars.

 

Industry Standard aka Indy – “Lifeline”

American-born Nigerian artist Industry Standard, aka Indy, unveils the visuals for his single “Lifeline,” a heartfelt tune about potentially losing what was once dear to you. Over an Afrofusion backdorp underpinned by warm and ethereal keys and pads, Indy delivers a powerful performance ripe with touching lyrics about pain, loss and growth. The accompanying visual is performance-based with minimal special effects, which is perfect for his natural on-screen charisma

 

 

DanimaL – “PTSD”.

DanimaL returns with the new single “PTSD,” a hard-hitting and unapologetic look at mental health. In his usual fashion, Danimal doesn’t hold back and shares with listeners intimate and dark stories that shaped his life. The visuals highlight the rapper’s energetic style without sugarcoating anything.

 

 

KhakiKid – “Favela”

Irish Alternative rapper and singer KhakiKid starts 2026 with his new single “Favela” and announces his new 5-track EP, Girl Bites Dog. The track is an upbeat pop-infused cut that highlights KhakiKid’s youthful exuberance and knack for off-beat songwriting and catchy hooks. The visuals show him having fun in different spots in the States.

 

 

Michelle David & The True -Tones – “Golden Sun”.

US-Dutch soul powerhouse Michelle David & The True-tones‘ new record, “Golden Sun,” continues the band’s single release as they prepare for their forthcoming album, Soul Woman. The video comes on the heels of their last single, “You’ll Never Know.” The track is an uplifting piece that echoes like a positive mantra, driving listeners to greater heights. Bolstered by a rumbunctious drum groove, electric guitar riffs, Gospel-tinged keys, and the commanding vocals of frontwoman Michelle David, the track is the perfect motivational anthem, reminding us to trust the shimmering light guiding us to our true purpose. The visual style is mostly performance-based, with gripping cinematic effects that tap into the theme of the song. The album Soul Woman, will be released this Friday, February 27 via Record Kicks.

 

JoeJas – “WiiiZARD POOLS”.

Multi-talented artist  JoeJas unveils the visuals for his song “WiiiZARD POOLS.” The entire affair is singlehandedly crafted by the artist who plays multiple roles to bring this upbeat cut to life. From writing, producing, and mixing the song to shooting and editing the video, JoeJas goes all out on this release. The song itself is an upbeat jam with playful synths and expressive bars that explore what it means to be authentic. The visuals are extremely colourful and feature an array of set pieces ranging from retro cartoon, pop and video game references.

 

Charmaine Renee x RXCH – ” TREATED”

 

Singer/songwriter Charmaine Renee connects with fellow artist RXCH and together they deliver this bouncy track ” TREATED.” The track is a modern R&B/hip-hop infused track about self-worth, and emotional confidence required to keep a relationship flourishing. The trakc has a smooth melodic performance from Renee with heartfelt raps from RXCH and the visual featurs the singer in her element.

 

 

 

M-Dot x Kore – “Break (Remix)” prod.by B Leafs

Veteran Boston emcee/producer M-Dot connects with fellow EMS affiliate  Kore for “Break (Remix)”. The track produced by B Leafs has a solemn vibe and finds the emcees detailing their personal struggles and the pressure of being a man in an unforgiving world. The visuals are shot in Germany by Philipp Ledenyi who uses a black and white hue to enhance the emotional punch of the theme.

 

Mike Martinez x Big Dese – “Aaron Hernandez” prod. by Mike Martinez”.

Mike Martinez and Big Dese return to the forefront with “Aaron Hernandez,” a raw and unfiltered track that highlight unapologetic raps over a plucky guitar-laden backdrop. The accompanying visual follows Big Dese in different spots doing what he loves. The track serves as a precurosr to the duo’s forthcoming project.

 

 

The Last Maven x Kid Breeze – “In Closing”.

 

“In Closing” by The Last Maven and Kid Breeze is a smooth jam underpinned by reflective and bravado-laden bars over a soulful backdrop while Ro garnishes the song with a sublime hook. The visual’s style follows the trio in their element in the studio and uses engaging visual effects and cinematic movement that keeps listeners locked in from start o finish.
