DJ BLKLUOS and longtime collaborator Tabz SOS continue their musical releases with “ONLY THE FITTEST” and “NO REST.” Two hard-hitting tracks that showcase their musical chemistry and knack for pushing the envelope.
“ONLY THE FITTEST” is a mellow but gritty piece that explores street savviness and the dark side of life, where only the strongest survive. Over DJ BLKLUOS’s gloomy and cinematic backdrop brimming with ominous textures and a downtempo drum groove, Tabz SOS takes us deep into the mix of the action, where nothing is promised and one has to be quick witted and alert to survive the concrete jungle.
The second track “NO REST” is a posse cut that features 93G and BIG R’Z and its a solid fusion of underground hip-hop with modern Dancehall vocal elements. Once again Tabz is in his element and drops nothing but pure, raw and undiluted bars followed by a recurring mantra-like hook.
