Prolific producer Dub Sonata‘ revisits his acclaimed instrumental project Nights In Cuba, with a vinyl release and a new 6-track EP entitled  Nights In Cuba Revisited included on Side D of the 2xLP release from Man Bites Dog Records. Made in the same vein as the original 19 track body of work, the Revisted project boasts exciting samples from deep down under while the producer traversed through the beautiful country of Cuba in 2010. The result is a vibrant and dynamic body of work that blends sounds from the Caribbean island nation with a healthy dose of hip-hop. The genre-bending project is layered with upright bass, trumpet, flute, sax, piano, guitar, various percussion, and scratches by Scram Jones and thus transports the listener to the streets of Havana.

The release also comes with a short trailer that captures Dub Sonata’s trip ad viewers get to see the sights and wonderful folks in the country.

The 2xLP vinyl is limited to 100 units, and the CD Digipak spread includes a colorful 16 page booklet of photos from Cuba taken by the record-collecting producer/photographer. Bandcamp bundles include fine art prints on various media, exclusively available from Man Bites Dog Records. The new Nights In Cuba Revisited releases on Bandcamp 4/21, and hits streaming platforms 5/5.
