Kareem Jamal – “No Rainy Days Instrumental”

Multi-talented act Kareem Jamal kicks off the list with his experimental R&B instrumental titled “No Rainy Days”. The producer blends a smooth mix of Hip-hop and soulful R&B elements to really make a solid number everyone can vibe to. The laid-back drums are pretty groovy but the vocal samples really add that extra juice into the mix. The visual is pretty colorful too as it displays Jamal’s love for photography and fashion. We get to see all these with Jamal and his creative friends who come through with their own unique styles.

DefByMisadventure is back with another joint titled “The Liq”. This time he flips some samples from the classic track “Accordion” by Madlib and really runs with it.

 

 

Cosmonkey – “Galactic”

Producer Cosmonkey makes his TWIB debut with a soothing record titled “Galactic”. The track is very ethereal and reflective too as he blends a mix of classic jazz and futuristic instrumentation. get the audio on Spotify.

 

 

Phillip Hamilton – “Lovejoy”

Dallas, Texas guitarist/producer Phillip Hamilton‘s new release “Lovejoy” says it all. The uplifting track is rife with lush guitars, bright brass-lines and an upbeat groove to match. Hamilton adds that the song was inspired by the joy he gets from life and his family as a whole. This is definitely that track that would brighten up your day.

13thousand – “summer knows”

13thousand is the moniker of Philadelphia-born, London-based budding producer who is trying to make his name known in the industry. His TWIB debut “summer knows” has a nice blend of classic boom-bap drums with jazz elements. A very soothing track if we do say so ourselves. Hit the play button and get familiar.
After graduating from high school, 13thousand. chose to forgo college to instead join his brother in London who was pursuing a Masters Degree in the city. Living in and setting up his studio in a small 1br flat in the Hoxton neighborhood of East London, 13thousand. began to produce more lo-fi and jazz-influenced hip-hop music that was reflective of the gray skies, coffee shops, and council flats all around him.

 

 

Big O – “iMPERFECT VOYAGE”

Big O‘s back with a solid gem he calls “iMPERFECT VOYAGE”. A mellow, guitar-driven beat that has a soothing, vintage vibe. Solid as usual. “iMPERFECT VOYAGE” is taken from his new instrumental project ‘iNSTABiLiTY’
“iNSTABiLiTY” is basically about an unstable young man who cannot stay in one place and is completely uncertain about everything that life has to offer. He’s not afraid of taking risks, always searching for something new and is willing to go anywhere he possibly can in order to find himself and his true purpose in this world.

Hench – “Wilkins Warbler”

Producer Hench comes through with his brand of retro-futuristic music with the release of his new beat titled “Wilkins Warbler”. It’s pretty cinematic and nostalgic too as he blends tape-damaged Wurlitzers, smooth CTI-style bass lines, and slow-build 12-bit boom bap styled drums. Check out more of his music here.

 

 

$outhern – “Super Sport”

Houston producer $outhern shares “Super Sport”, a smooth groovy tune from his upcoming sophomore instrumental album Sunroof Coupes. This album provides a wide range of samples that create a dope vibe to ride to. ‘Sunroof Coupes’ was inspired by his love for cars as a teenager, which has now become the soundtrack of an everyday car ride with $outhern.

Hanses – “Appartement 23/1”

German producer Hanses hits our top 10 with a smooth, alluring beat he calls “Appartement 23/1”. The title is a tribute to the address the producer stayed at with his girlfriend. The laid-back, reflective beat is quite engaging and would have you nodding your head all through. Get it on Spotify.
