Since Dilla’s passing in 2006 there have been an almost uncountable number of tributes recorded for the great man. 6 years later and this shows no sign of letting up, a true sign of just how great he was. Now I think this is the first time I can remember a tribute being made by using an existing tribute. Well, 2Dash Tone has done this. He has taken a selection of the tracks from the ‘Dilla Joints’ project by The Roots and added his rhymes.
