The Bound Feat Pt 1 is the experimental hip hop side project from Hua Li (aka Peggy Hogan), a Montreal based rapper/vocalist. She’s actually a trained Jazz musician and released an album To Lie With under her anglo persona. However as Hua Li, she pushes the limit by fusing electro,hip-hop/trap, atmospheric sounds and then some along with a varied subject matter to match the every dynamic soundscape. From the boom bap ish ‘Cooking’, Yonker’s inspired ‘Voodoo’ to the retro vibes on ‘Don’t Blow My High’, Hua Li always got something to offer all open minded individuals.
