Next week on the podcast, we will look at the important moments in hip-hop history that had women in the forefront with a special hour long edition of Know Your History.

Over the next few weeks, we will continue our spotlight on the Women in Hip-Hop with great content including a special roundtable discussion with some very talented ladies.

We need to celebrate the female voices we have in this music. Too often, those voices get overshadowed in a culture that tends to be dominated by men. I’m not sure why this is the case. We have some great female voices in this music and you just heard from two dozen of them.

Happy International Women’s Day!
