The C&K Street Series features Commoners and Kings performing impromptu spoken word poems on the streets of Southern California. GUEST POET, Marcus Omari, the Crowned prince of the PRP (Poetic Reform Party) is a prolific poet, writer, and performer that is inspired by the beauty in all things. He is on the short list of poets I know that is studied in literary poetry. Some of his favorites being Walter Benton and June Jordan. Never afraid to test his vulnerability in verse, Omari serves up his brand spankin’ new piece “INSTINCT,” with his classic southern baptist preacher, story telling flair.
