This song is a real piece of hip-hop history in that it’s one of the last “real” songs to come from the Death Row camp. Released just a few months after 2Pac was killed (December of 1996), “Santa Claus Goes Straight To The Ghetto” keeps most of the original Death Row artists together. With appearances from Nate Dogg, Daz Dillinger and Bad Azz (who was featured on 2Pac’s Makaveli album only 4 months prior), this video really marked the end of an era.
