“Self Taught consists of producer/mc’s Vintage and Cliff Herman as well as the soul singing crooner himself, Jay Robillard. Influenced by golden-era hip hop but relevant to today’s sound, Five YearJourney is a new-age throwback. The album is available for download (name your price) on Bandcamp and includes 15 songs with features from Inkspill, K-Rec, Mike Decline, and Allan Rodger. The album is dedicated to the group’s longtime friend, Colin Van Dyk, who passed away unexpectedly in 2010.” NEED I SAY MORE?
