“How It All Started” is the newest joint from King Magnetic which is in collaboration with deejay/producer DJ E.REX. The track has a mid-tempo bounce and it’s laced with classic brassy elements while King Magnetic does his thing alongside fellow emcee GQ Nothin Pretty. Nothing here is gimmicky as the listener gets a full dose of heavy bars and diverse flows peppered with a throwback vibe to match.
The WE L!IVE T.V directed visuals follow Magnetic as he goes back to his old neighborhood back in Allentown, PA. Specifically, we go to William Allen High School, where GQ attended. It’s there where we get to see the lyrically-impressive emcees dive into their past and provide some background on events that shaped their lives.
