A great little interview piece here from Spine TV on the legendary DJ Muro! Not only do we get a “how it all began” story, but we’re also privileged to a look into his very own fabled record library.

For those who don’t know, DJ Muro is the “King of Diggin'”, a well respected title across the globe due to his legendary mixtapes. Considered a pioneer of Tokyo hip-hop, he was one of the founding members of Krush Posse, a supergroup of emcees and DJs in the late 80’s along with DJ Krush himself. Much like ?uesltlove of The Roots, he is often likened to a walking musical encyclopaedia, due to his immense music collection as evident in the video. Able to strike success in both the mainstream and underground, his skills have taken him to the U.S. frequently where he has collaborated with the likes of Lord Finesse, Ghostface, Raekwon, Diamond D, Q-Tip and Pete Rock.
