The visuals for Lafayette Stokely‘s 1995 stay true to the title of the song–simple, straight forward and of course nostalgic. The ode to the year 1995 is ripe with the elements of the “golden age”; splicing clips of yesteryears with the cypher theme hits the mark.

This is the second clip I have seen from him since the conceptual Scared Of Death and he sure has come of age. Big ups on the Blackstar reference.

You all know we have been closely following him since he dropped the first single ‘Comin’ From The City‘ and also privileged to be part of the listening session of his album Life’s Journey: Life Goes On”  in NYC.
