MeccaGodZilla – “Godzilla Warfare” feat: Junclassic, Majesty, MF Mez, & K. Sise
“Godzilla Warfare” is a previously unreleased song from the defunct hip-hop collective Monsta Island Czars. The posse cut recorded back in 2006 features MeccaGodZilla, Junclassic, Majesty (RIP), MF Mez (Dreamville), and K. Sise. who all display their lyrical talents over a cinematic and edgy soundscape. No stone is left unturned as the emcees trade various hard-hitting bars, expressive flows and engaging bravado-driven rhyme schemes that would leave heads nodding in agreement.
Memnoc – “Momma”.
Memnoc‘s new single “Momma” is a heartfelt tribute to his mother. The reflective tune has a solemn and calm vibe and it’s filled with engaging storytelling that details the struggles his mother faced in order to raise him the right way.
Sydmac – “Bread and Circuses”.
Brooklyn, NY-based rapper Sydmac delivers his new single “Bread and Circuses,” a thought-provoking track that explores the concept of social engineering and the willingness of the masses to accept half-baked, short-term solutions to a deeper problem. Bolstered by a warm and solemn vocal-sample-driven backdrop, Sydmac gives audiences a vivid look into the situation with engaging storytelling and an expressive cadence.
Deema – “DOG WITH A £”.
Peckham-born rapper Deema enters our playlist with his new single “DOG WITH A £,” a reflective and heartfelt tribute to his hometown of Lewisham. The soundscape is dark, moody and cinematic and serves as the perfect canvas for Deema’s lucid and engaging storytelling that drops listeners in the mix of the action. He explores his journey thus far and the ups and downs that come with life. The track is the title track off his forthcoming EP
Goldfinger x Tigs – “Sutt’n Aint Right”
UK artist Goldfinger and Tigs team up for this hard-hitting tune titled “Sutt’n Aint Right.” Backed by a punchy and scenic soundscape comprising orchestral stabs, ominous strings and punchy drums, the emcees share their thoughts on the current state of affairs and how things have suddenly become gloomy. From the never-ending struggles and tribulations, the conclusion is clear that something ain’t right out here.
luvwander – “NOTE2SELF”.
Singer/songwriter luvwander delivers a future R&B/soul track “NOTE2SELF,” a heartfelt and reflective track that explores his inner thoughts and growth as a man.
Jaye Rsvd – “See”
Jaye Rsvd‘s “See” is a thought-provoking track with layered themes of growth, self-purpose and the ever-evolving life we all live in.
Maxxad – “Falling to pieces”
Maxxad‘s “Falling to pieces” is a heartfelt and solemn track that talks about mental health, depression and self-doubt.
JS – “Find Myself”.
Texas-bred rapper/songwriter Ray Aka. YungDon gives us a glimpse into his life in “Find Myself.” The solemn soundscape is underpinned by his unapologetic lyrics about his loss, daily struggles and demons he has to face to come out right.
King Kaiju – “Purge Freestyle” (Prod. Ty Sorrell)”
King Kaiju employs producer Ty Sorrell for “Purge Freestyle.” The dark soundscape is scenic and fits King Kaiju’s expressive and laidback flow.

Palmdale Ca-raised rapper/producer Memnoc steps into this week’s playlist with “Deuces.” The upbeat trap tune is layered with insightful and bravado bars.
King Kaiju – “Times Like This” (Prod. M!CHAEL)
King Kaiju gives us a glimpse into his past or rather this younger self in this reflective tune titled “Times Like This.” The production by M!CHAEL is atmospheric and soulful while the lyrics are lucid and engaging from start to finish.

“On my own” is a new collaboration that brings together Que K, Moe C and Kod@k over a pounding and cinematic trap soundscape.

The Monarchy caught our attention with “Black Sheep,” a poignant and relatable track that deals with the never-ending external pressures people face from all sides.
Que k – “How u want it”.
Que k pour adulations on that special someone with “How u want it.” The track has a playful and bright soundscape underpinned by Que K’s candid songwriting.
Jurelle, Jah Born, Ya Msanii – “Belly”
Jurelle, Jah Born, and Ya Msanii team up for “Belly,” a soul-gripping track that talks about the cyclic struggle black folks face in the US of A. The production has a moody and solemn aesthetic while the lyrics are profound and vivid.
Suave Colione – “Alive” (feat. Eldred Merricks)
