Zak North‘s “Kidz Die II” is a heartfelt and insightful track that dwells on man’s mortality. The song is inspired by North’s own experiences when his son was hospitalized with a near-fatal injury and got him thinking of recalibrating his mindset. Bread of Kaliwild – “Star” (feat. Sadat X, Lord Jamar & Sirius)

L.A. rap stalwart Bread of Kaliwild links with fellow hip-hop luminaries Sadat X and Lord Jamar for his inspirational and thoughtful new single/video, “Star” taken from his forthcoming LP, A Breath of Fresh Air.
The video is directed by Gabe Evans, while Dani Chaya provided the character illustrations and William “Dolla” Chapman did the animation. Together, they provide Bread and his guests with a colorful, uplifting visual canvas that hip-hop fans of all ages can enjoy. The same goes for the message of the track itself, which Bread kicks off with rhymes about overcoming whatever life brings your way while maintaining the blue flame inside you. This theme is reinforced by a strong hook supplied by singer/songwriter, Sirius.
