The Pittsburgh-based duo of Moemaw Naedon and C.Scott are preparing to drop their collaborative project River Rats, this September but in the meantime, they share their lead single “Awesome Environment.” The track is bolstered by C.Scott’s moody and punchy backdrop and Naedon’s vivid lyricism and impassioned flow.

The single arrives fresh off the release of Moemaw’s notable Cult Theatre collab LP this past June with New Orleans spitter Calig Kontra. And the emcee’s winning streak simply continues here with “Awesome Environment,” which thrives off his seamless delivery, tack-sharp lyricism, and ability to weave in and out of Scott’s bass-rich production.

Scott produced the entirety of River Rats, which is set to feature the likes of El Da Sensei, JM The Poet, B Rude, and Brother Seamus all flowing alongside Moemaw.
