Soundspretty – “Drips”

Soundspretty gets into his bag as he helps kick off this week’s list with a soothing beat he calls “Drips.” He flips a classic sample and slows it down over a head-nodding drum arrangement to match. The mellow ttrack he says is inspired by the final days of the Berlin summer.

 

 

Soul.peddler – “Stolen Goods”

Soul.peddler comes through with a trippy lo-fi jam he calls “Stolen Goods” where he fuses elements from trap music and lo-fi jazz vibes. The track is pretty chilled and has a very soothing energy that calms the soul.

DONT3 – “Call U Back”

Straight out of San Antonio, Texas comes producer DONT3 who laces us with this reflective piece titled “Call U Back” which he says was inspired by Erykah Badu. The track has a very dreamy feel with its layered instrumentation and atmospheric textures. “Call U Back” is taken from his debut EP “Pisces”. Get the single on Spotify, Apple Music.

 

 

 

Escape Tones – “Bananas”

 

Escape Tones goes “Bananas” on us with this splendid head-nodding beat. The track has a nice electro element to it and features a whole lot of jazz vibes as well. Escape Tones is a duo made up of Nick McFarland on keys and Jeremy Trobaugh on drums. This track off their beat tape Essentials. Get it on Bandcamp and Soundcloud.

 

 

 

 

Rocomoco x The Hidden – “Wonderland”

 

The Berlin-based duo who go by the moniker Rocomoco teamed up with The Hidden to bring us “Wonderland.” A blissful track that conjures nostalgic memories with its lush, atmospheric keys, alluring guitars and mellow drums to match. “Wonderland” is the second single from the upcoming EP 3:30pm by Rocomoco + The Hidden aka Dan McRae.

 

 

 

 

 

Chill Select , Lofi Moshpit, Willis Nillis – “Bumper Cars”

 

Production collective Chill Select shares “Bumper Cars” which serves as the premier single from the collective’s Fam Episode 2 Beat tape . The song is a collaboration with Chill Select fam members, Lofi Moshpit and Willis Nillis. The duo sure brings out the big guns with their dreamy textures and head-nodding grooves.
