San Diego-based multi-instrumentalist/producer Tonga is not new to TWIB and on his new single “inbetween” he delivers something refreshing and sublime for us to vibe to. The mellow track is ripe with smooth piano riffs, warm basslines, and soft drum grooves to boot. It’s perfect for relaxation and maybe to study too.

Born into a musical family, he was influenced by early and constant exposure to various styles of music: Motown, reggae, jazz, and his father’s own Polynesian fusion music.
