Berlin-based vocalist and songwriter Thea Alien is not green to our site and returns with something refreshing in the form of her new single titled “HIDE & SEEK”. The mellow track is as reflective and moody as they come and oozes elements of R&B/pop with a sparsely arranged breakbeat to boot.  Armed with her sultry and alluring vocals, she glides seamlessly over the soothing backdrop and delivers a dynamic performance that rises and falls as the track progresses and as she reflects on the ups and downs of being in a fledgling relationship that has may run its course. Her perspective seems to be that of someone watching from the inside but powerless to change the tide so has to watch it all fall apart. It’s quite soul-stirring and relatable as well.
