Berlin-based singer/songwriter  Thea Alien keeps raising the ante with every release as she fully embodies her multiple roles with her art. The self-written and co-produced track, “Bow Down” is her public statement to the patriarchal structure, reminding them that she is not one to toy with. Backed by a brooding and moody backdrop, Thea steps to the forefront with much vigour reminding the audiences of the power women wield with lines like

Our path – Our own
We built that throne

Watching my resilience grow”

In the end, she delivers a clear message and a reminder to the women folk to never kowtow or fold because equality and equity are the goals and nothing less.
