Do My Thing

Berlin-based vocalist and songwriter Thea Alien grew up in an artistic family made up of an actor father and mother who teaches art. Thea spent her childhood years exploring music and honing her talents before moving to the US in her teens and expanding her skill as a classically trained singer and self-taught actress. She then moved back to Germany to launch her career and although it took a while for her to find her true sound, she is now back in the field with her latest single “Do My Thing” which serves as a claim to her identity as a genre-bending musician. Over the pop/soul/jazz backdrop made up of lush keys, rich guitar plucks and a head-nodding drum groove, she delivers a blend of soothing melodic runs and laidback raps that explore self-confidence, growth and being free from any form of constraints.
