Emerging rap act Sk Rose drops off his video for “Clout”, a bass-heavy upbeat track that focuses on his grind. He wastes no time flexing on the naysayers and reminds us that he is all about his bag. The video directed by Gregg Johnson makes use of performance shots and hustle-themed motifs to match.

Nep Jennings – “MR”

Detroit-based artist/producer Nep Jennings comes through with the video for his single “MR”. The self-produced track is a blend of jazz and funky vibes and makes use of the classic drum break and lush keys that are underpinned by his fiery flows and vivid lyrical schemes. Clouds in a Headlock – “Phantasia”

Psychedelic hip hop supergroup and flagship artists of the ŌFFKILTR circle, Clouds in a Headlock recently put out their debut LP Breakfast in Phantasia, and now they return with the visual for the song  “Phantasia”. The Runway 45 produced track is a laidback jazz-infused jam that is bolstered by the experimental styles of the collective taking us back to the golden era of rap. The Mr Blønde directed visual is stylish, and colourful and makes use of interesting visual effects and eclectic coloration to match.

Breakfast in Phantasia is available now through all major DSPs and vinyl—in a clear w/ black colour-in-colour configuration—via CMR in partnership with Fat Beats.

Mariea Antoinette – “So Amazing”

Multi-talented instrumentalist Mariea Antoinette helped close out the list with her Harp rendition of R&B legend Luther Vandross‘s”So Amazing”. The result is pure bliss and carries on the spirit and integrity of the original with her own little twist. The story behind the song is part of what makes it even more special. Performing “So Amazing” at a wedding, Antoinette received grand applause once she was done playing the bride at the altar. It was a clear sign that her “Amazing” arrangement was destined to be shared with international audiences.

The visual continues the theme with its grand and majestic scenes with performance shots of Mariea doing what she loves best.
