Billy Danze (M.O.P) “The Fix” Ft. Lady Lee x TooBusy
The legendary Billy Danze of M.O.P fame delivers the visuals for his song “The Fix”. The track produced by TooBusy has a cinematic feel with its horn passes, scenic sample chops and punchy drums. Underpinned by Billy’s authoritative and commanding performance, listeners get a detailed breakdown of what it means to be an elder statesman in the game who is still kicking and dropping gems. The accompanying visual follows Billy alongside his cohort Lady Lee as they set out to set things straight for doubters and naysayers.
Kossisko – “Serotonin”
GRAMMY-nominated artist Kossisko (they/them/theirs) shares the video for “Serotonin” from their forthcoming album, SLAYERZ BALL out Friday. The track is a mellow funk-soul number that explores one yearning for the love of someone who makes them feel special. The visual has a retro-pop vibe and captures Kossisko and their band performing the song in their live studio.
Finesse Parlay – “DEFEND YOU”
US-based Ghana-born alternative hiphop artist Finesse Parlay helped bring the playlist to a close with his new release “DEFEND YOU”. The track has a dark cinematic and punchy groove and sees him reminding detractors and naysayers of their ignorance concerning his struggles. He is frank and unapologetic in his approach and leaves no stone unturned. The visual uses quite a lot of energetic and fast pacing with subtle visual effects that ramp up the urgency.
