Vancouver-based producer CNFMUS pays homage to the late Notorious B.I.G with a re-imagined take on the rapper’s production choices. The producer harks back to the 90s with a beat that could surely work with Biggie Smalls’s unique drawl and crafts a west-coast influenced bouncy backdrop for his take on the posthumous track “Dangerous MCs.” The original version which appeared on the posthumous LP Born Again had a different vibe joined by newcomer Mark Curry, the boisterous energy of Busta Rhymes, and the calm collected vibe of Snoop Dogg.

CNFMUS reimagines a beat that could be crafted by Dr. Dre and comes up with something punchy that we all can rock to. The remix is part of CNFMUS’s what if remix project that sees Biggie teaming up with Cam’ron, Murder Ma$e, Bloodshed [RIP], Big L), Dawn Robinson, Ghostface Killah, King T, Krayzie Bone, Lil’ Kim, Raekwon, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Swizz Beatz, Tears For Fears, Twista, Uncle Luke amongst others.
